Alan Jackson's, Under the Influence, is his eighth studio album. It was published on October 26, 1999, and includes versions of songs by different country musicians. Under the Influence produced three singles: "Pop a Top," "The Blues Man," and "It Must Be Love," which charted at No. 6, No. 37, and No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs charts, respectively. Unsolicited airplay pushed "My Own Kind of Hat," "Margaritaville," and "She Just Started Liking Cheatin' Songs" to the bottom of the rankings.
