Thanks to Nick Armstrong and Eric Larson who helped me co-instruct an ODFW Level 1 workshop today, we were able to help several first timers get their first catch in the surf!
Our club hosts these workshops to help newbies learn as well as volunteer our free time to help ODFW spread Angler Education.
If you watch this video, you will see that surf fishing is much more than catching - it's about experiencing a different kind of fishing. :) You will also see what we teach in this very beginning workshops so you can learn to fish on your own
