In this video, I explain in detail how Net Metering Bill Calculations are done in Pakistan under the WAPDA system. You will learn step by step how import and export units are calculated every month, and how billing works depending on the balance between the two.
👉 If export units are greater than import units, then no electricity bill is charged for that month. Instead, your exported units are adjusted in the next months.
👉 If import units are higher than export units, then a bill is generated for that specific month.
👉 In most cases, if adjustments remain, WAPDA finalizes the bill every third month.
I have also explained the difference in peak hours and off-peak hours billing:
⚡ Peak hour units are charged at Rs. 48 per unit.
⚡ Off-peak exported units are purchased by WAPDA at Rs. 27 per unit.
