I have had this instrument for 4 months now, and love it. It's extremely easy on the fingers, and very playable. It may not sound EXACTLY like an oud, but it's literally close enough for jazz.....
I have owned a number of different Godin instruments, including the Glissentar which ultimately i was dissatisfied with. This instrument is a massive improvement over the Glissentar. I still own and regularly play a Godin Multiac Fretless Nylon guitar which is also, to me, another one of their finest instruments.
