Florida Personal Injury Lawyers Huge Firm vs Small Firms and and what occurs when choose wrong

I was recently talking with a friend whose son had been in an accident. The other driver was clearly at fault, and his son suffered a broken arm. I said, “Tell him to call me. I will walk him through it.” My friend responded, “He already signed up with one of those huge firms. The ones always advertising on TV.”

Then came the part I have heard far too often. He said his son does not know who his lawyer is. He speaks to a case manager, and no one returns his calls.

Unfortunately, this is typical of large, corporate-style law firms. They operate more like call centers, with hundreds of employees and multiple layers between the client and the attorney. Staff members rotate in and out. You might have several different lawyers assigned to your case before it is over, and none of them truly knows you. None of them sat across from you when you were hurting and uncertain about your future.

My friend then asked if I would take over the case. I had to be honest. Probably not. Once those big firms get involved, they usually place a lien on the file and run up costs. If I step in, I am left trying to unwind their billing and sort through a file that has already been mishandled. In the end, I do most of the work for little or no compensation. That is not a good use of time or resources, and it is not fair to my existing clients.

There is a clear difference when you hire a small firm like mine.
