Hunter’s Hotel: Das Kurhaus der Kaiserin – Urban Exploration & Lost Places Germany

BESCHREIBUNG:

Direkt an der berühmten Schwarzwaldhochstraße, der ältesten Ferienstraße Deutschlands, besucht das Team der Lost Places Tapes ein altes Kurhaus, welches nur eines von vielen Beispielen für den Verfall früherer Prachtbauten entlang der Panoramastraße darstellt. Nichstdestotrotz, was wir im Inneren des Gebäudes vorfinden ist schlicht und einfach atemberaubend!!!

Im Jahr 1845 als Schutzhütte für Waldarbeiter konzipiert, wurde sie 30 Jahre später zunächst zum Gasthaus umgebaut. Aufgrund der konsequent steigenden Zahl von Gästen konnte das Gebäude vergrößert und zu einem für damalige Zeiten imposanten Kurhaus ausgebaut werden. Es wurde zur ersten Adresse für Adelige und wohlhabende Bürger. Sogar Sissi, die Kaiserin von Österreich-Ungarn, soll hier gespeist haben …

Heute steht das Gebäude leer und ist dem Verfall preisgegeben. Allerdings gibt es Pläne in Zusammenhang mit dem neu eingerichteten Nationalpark Schwarzwald, welche eine Rettung des Kurhauses beinhalten. Ein Rennen gegen die Zeit hat begonnen!

DESCRIPTION:

Directly at the famous Black Forest road overpass, Germany's oldest holiday route, the team behind the Lost Places Tapes visits an old spa hotel, which is just one of many examples for the decline of former magnificent buildings along the scenic road. Nevertheless, what we find inside the building is simply breathtaking!!!

Designed in 1845 as a refuge for forest workers, it was reconstructed into a guesthouse 30 years later. Due to the consistently increasing number of guests, the building was enlarged and expanded into an impressive spa hotel. It became the first address for nobles and wealthy citizens. Even Sissi, the Empress of Austria-Hungary, is said to have dined here ...

Today, the building is empty and in decay. However, there are plans in connection with the newly established Black Forest National Park, which include the rescue of the spa house. A race against time has begun!
