Appam / இலங்கையின் சுவையான அப்பம் (pal appam, egg appam, plain appam) sri lankan appam in Tamil

Today we will prepare three Sri Lankan appam recipes : egg appam, plain appam and paal appam in Tamil. With easy and quick steps to follow will see how to make delicious appam.

The basic ingredients are for all three Sri Lankan recipes in Tamil are the same. Appam recipe Tamil is a traditional recipe from Kerala in India. But appam recipe in tamil Sri Lankan is also popular among the Indian, Pakistani and Sri Lankan community.
The special think of appam is that there are so many variation of appam. There are on the one hand sweet pal appam / milk appam but on the other hand there are salty and spicy appam like egg appam.
Some children will prefer pal appam and spicy loving people the egg appam / mutta appam with curry powder, salt and pepper.
A plain appam is a neutral appam and you can add for you own additional ingredients to create your own freestyle appam.

It is filling and you update it so that each individual taste will be satified. The recipes main ingredients are coconut milk and yeast. This appam recipe is vegan, gluten-free and cripsy.
For nice morning appam is the ideal dish for breaktfast to servce with other vegetables or fruits depending if you like the sweet or unsweetened variant. If you can not decide just prepare the plain appam so that your guest prepare their appam as they like.
