My 3 Year Natural Hair Journey

Hey guys! This is a montage of my natural hair journey thus far. In high school, I had low self-esteem and I made it a goal of mine to begin acquiring self-love, so I chose to embrace my natural hair as the first step. I've undergone two big chops, so it's been quite the ride over the last three and a half years! I became very emotional making this video lol, but I am super glad to be sharing it! :-)
Also, I don't use any styling tools (fingers only), and I like to utilize protective styles and low manipulation/tension styles frequently.
1st Big chop: late December 2010
2nd big chop: May 2012
Hair info: Mostly coarse strands, predominantly 4B/4C with a small portion of 4A in the lower back
