After leaving the teams, he was doing construction jobs, odd jobs on weekends, and delivering pizzas. Staying an extra hour or two after delivering pizzas to clean up or unclogging drains, just to get that extra $6.75 an hour. Doing anything he could do to make ends meet for his family.

When teachers of leadership and excellence share their motivation and lessons learned, it’s imperative that they have the real world examples of walking that walk to back it up.
