Poverty Point Objects are tiny pieces of sculpted clay that have been fired like pottery. What were they for? Hell if I know. Traditionally it has been taught that some might have been used for cooking, but that's iffy. Others are ornately decorated with incised motifs or shaped to look like... gourds? maybe? They're interesting pieces of the past for sure.
