Trails in the Sky (aka Sora no Kiseki) is a fantastic game with fascinating music. This is the main menu theme from the second game in the series.
This piece is actually an arrangement of one of the main themes of the series. This theme is heard for the first time when you explore the mysterious ancient towers which are scattered all across the country of Liberl, listen to this "first version" here

This piano arrangement gets rid of the strange rhythms and chromatic harmonies, the result is less mysterious and more purely emotional and works quite well as a standalone short piano piece!
The games contain tons of different versions of this theme, ranging from creepy and tense to adventurous and dramatic. It's really cool.
Hopefully this is a sign that I'm going to play more Trails in the Sky music or music from Falcom in general! This is the only piece for which I actually found some decent sheet music (thank you Kuchinashi), so others will take more time to come out.
