WIZZ AIR Airbus A320-232 - Skopje to Luxembourg

Onboard a Wizz Air, Malta based Airbus A320 from the North Macedonian capital of Skopje, across wintery Europe to Luxembourg on January 15th 2024.
A completely full flight (took an absolute age to board) and the gate agents were adament on closing the gate and getting the doors closed leaving us stood on the jetty for almost an hour as the crew weren't ready to board us, needless to say I was not impressed. The jetty was cold, with no heating or seats. That being said, the flight departed almost an hour behind schedule and we weren't actually informed as to why by anyone. A freezing cold night had left all aircraft covered in frost & ice so we were deiced before departure. That not being a cause for the delay, as all other departures were deiced nicely ontime and left at a reasonable time around their schedule. Once airborne and into the sunrise, some spectacular views across Europe and some snowy mountainous scenes across the Alps / Dolomites. Arrival in Luxembourg seemed to be by the skin on our teeth as the saying goes. Lots of snow and quite a strong breeze. We were the last arrival before the runway was closed for over an hour to the cleared. The return flight departed Luxembourg over 2 hours behind scheduled and several inbound flights after we had arrived, diverted elsewhere! A Cargolux 747 held for over 30 minutes before diverting to Cologne. So I consider us very lucky on this Wizz flight to have actually made it straight in. Lots of delays and long holding patterns & even diversions and we arrived fairly unscathed.
