Today we continue working with the shirt of the complicated design.
I remind you that the picture of it was sent to me by one of the subscribers.
I’m going to show you how to tack the front.
I’m making a mock-up, so I’m going to cut just 1 half of the front. You need to make a full-size garment.
I’m making this blouse on the basis of my basic pattern.
Work slowly and accurately. Make sure that you understand what you are doing.
It would be pretty hard to sew such shirts. I recommend you edging the details with a binding.
I’ve already made about 3 different patterns and mock-ups for this shirt.
The technique which I’m showing you is the best for sewing such garments.
Please, be very attentive!
Watch the way I’m working. I remind you that I’m making a mock-up.
You will see all the details clearly, when I put the mock-up on the dummy.
I showed you how to make a pattern very thoroughly. This is the most complicated part in sewing the shirt.
The most important thing is that the 3 layers should match.
Edge the 3 layers together and then work with the details as if there’s just 1 layer of fabric in them.
I’m glad that I managed to find the best way for making such shirts.
Don’t be afraid of experiments and remember that practice makes perfect.
