This is a video of a drive I took along the former alignment of US 666 northbound from the Colorado/New Mexico State Line to Towaoc, CO, on a beautiful day.
From approximately 01:35 - 02:05, you may catch glimpses of the earlier roadbed just off to the right. From roughly 08:10 - 09:45, the earlier alignment would have run down through the valley on the left.
