I was lucky enough to spend a day demoing the Deere 950K bulldozer. Unfortunately the day I got to spend running this machine was after a night of heavy rain so site conditions weren't ideal. I am working in a lower spot on the job site that consisted of very soft ground so I am pushing uphill to stockpile topsoil on higher and harder ground so the excavator would be able to load it on the trucks the next day. It would have been nice to run this machine in dry dirt but that is part of working outdoors. I was able to get a clip of a coworker pushing dryer dirt at the beginning of the video. All in all it was a treat to get to try out the largest 6-way blade on the market. The cab feels like sitting in a Cadillac, and I think this machine has massive potential. I hope to to have the opportunity to spend more time on this machine in the future.
