my triple chiming mantel clock

now this is my triple chiming mantel clock with 3 chimes which has got raised roman numerals and has a nice mellow chiming and the striking of the hours some other clocks can play trinity chimes or guilfords chimes its just a diffrent tune for a clock chimes even ave maria is another speceall chime its an italian campanil tune which plays in italy now great malvern church plays a diffrent clock chimes or westminster chimes near herfordshire ledbury theres alot of diffrent clock chimes in oxford city centre from diffrent churches like the merton college oxford bell tower has 8 bells 25cwt the clock chimes are unick diffrent to the others carfax tower has got 6 bells and 2 quarter jacks outside when they chime the hours quarters to start called ting tangs then the 6 bell chimes rings out another diffrent tune just how people fancy a change from westminster chimes in every town citys then theres another fancy clock chimes at glastonbury church st johns which rings out on a diffrent scale not sure what the clock chimes is i know the derby cathedrals clock chimes on all 10 bells it starts of like whittingtons then tittums queens something like that then we have a couple of diffrent church clock chimes in york city centre st martin le grand church clock chimes plays the tune andrew carter he made this tune for st martin le grand church it rings out on all 8 bells then on the hour above the clock faces which stick out over the church the man will turn around and blow his toot till the chimes of the hours have finished then the york minster plays a hymn tune called york tune on the new 6 bells in the north west bell tower a bit of music to my ears yeah nice sounds i hear where ever i go in my spare time or day trips then theres another diffrent clock chime at kildwick st andrews church it starts like westminster chime and plays to other bells 8 bells then theres keithley st andrews which does a diffrent clock chime not westminster chimes we love this place o god 5 bells then lightcliffe st matthews church called the camebridge chimes on the back 6 bells yes it still has got 8 bells 1 2 doesnt get used i have heard them on holidays or when i have been to somerset years and years ago mellor and northleach st peter st pauls play the guilford chimes every hours quarters another diffrent tune again just how they were made by clock people and tiverston church in cornwall devon but alot of the churches cathedral around here just do the westminster chimes on 4 bells and derbyshire county the westminster chimes was the first chime to be made for 4 bells from big ben the houses of commons then other churches cathedral joined in now other people ask me what is that tune playing is it a carillon playing the drum or not i say to them no its just a diffrent chime which plays more of a longer note its got a smaller carillon for 8 notes to play the hours quarters thats what it is the westminster chimes uses 4 hammers so its an smaller drum that spins around and thats what causes the wires in the ringing room to triggar to strike the outside of the 4 bells and the other hammer strikes the hours after the full chiming on the hours now thers a 3 bell clock chimes at meltham church which rings on 3 bells on the 6 bells 1 3 5 1 3 5 1 3 5 1 3 5 full chiming then the 6th bell to strike the hours quarters is the same 1 3 5 quarter past half hour 1 3 5 1 3 5 stops quarter to 1 3 5 1 3 5 1 3 5 stops by stuart mills hope you like my chiming mantel clock now you can see for yours selfs how i ring the church bells counting in my head to what bell i am ringing
