After a day of filming under the scorching sun, the fan on my Atomos Ninja V started making loud noises. Looking at the fan, it looked like it was warped. I was definitely looking at a rather expensive repair, so I decided to do it myself. Luckily, some Reddit users found a compatible fan, the "SEPA HY45T-05A," for about $10 on Aliexpress. Unfortunately, the cable is too short and the connector is different, so the fan cable needs to be cut and spliced to the Atomos's.
This video isn't heavily edited, and I tried to keep it as clean as possible.
