Nice piece of figured Maple with just a touch of live edge. Several cracks that needed to be filled, so I used a blue resin. Ran into a little problem...several of the screws used to mount the faceplate broke off in the resin. I’m not sure why...I use a high quality screw that hasn’t had this problem before. Took some work to get those screws out when it was time to hollow out the piece.
