Another common tactic is guilt by association. Muslims will say things like, “You’re friends with David Wood, so you must believe everything he says or does.” This is not an argument — it’s a distraction designed to poison the well and avoid addressing the actual issue.

• Refuse to be dragged into character attacks
• Bring the discussion back to truth and evidence

Christians have freedom to engage, ask questions, and go places Muslims often cannot. That freedom is frequently used against us in debate — but it doesn’t invalidate the Gospel or the argument.
