Audi rs5 b8.5 with a rattling Engine !

In this video you will see :
an Audi rs5 with an engine that rattles.
So let's find out where the sound is coming from!
Audi said it was the timing chain / camshaft adjuster and that would cost a repair of 6000 euros but after a lot of searching and listening we found out ourselves
That it was quite different, it was the high-pressure pump that puts the gasoline under pressure for injection. the high-pressure pump that is mounted on the camshaft the problem was that the high-pressure pump has a solinoid mount and it received no power from the cable harness and after a measurement it turned out that there was a cable break in the plug to that was solved, the engine clean again but there was also a fuel smell in the engine oil because the high pressure pump had run without power
Made minor damage that caused the high pressure pump to leak fuel into the engine so we replaced the high pressure pump with a new one and the problem was solved! . Thanks for watching.

In deze video zie je :
een Audi rs5 met een motor die Ratelt.
Dus we gaan opzoek waar het geluid vandaan komt !
Audi zei dat het de timing koppeling was en dat zou een reparatie kosten worden van 6000 euro maar na veel zoeken en luisteren kwamen we er zelf erachter
Dat het heel wat anders was het was de hogedruk pomp die de benzine onderdruk zet voor inspuiting. de hogedruk pomp die zit op de nokkenas bevestigd het probleem was dat op de hogedruk pomp zit een solinoid bevestig en die kreeg geen voeding van de kabel boom en na een meting bleek dat er in het stekkertje een kabel breuk zat naar dat was opgelost liep de motor weer goed maar er bleef ook een brandstof geur hangen in de motorolie door dat de hogedruk pomp zonder voeding had gelopen
Heb een kleine schade opgebracht waardoor de hogedruk pomp brandstof ging lekken in de motor dus we hebben de hogedruk pomp vervangen voor een nieuwe en de probleem was op gelost! Mensen Bedankt voor het kijken.
