Driving in Germany: Bundestraße B27 & B28 from Stuttgart to Reutlingen via Tübingen

In this video you can drive along on the B27 and B28 from Stuttgart Möhringen (Southern Stuttgart) to Reutlingen. On the way we shortly pass through the historical city of Tübingen, where the B27 and B28 meet.

Both the B27 and B28 are important regional expressways carrying a fair amount of daily traffic. Especially the B27, which cuts through the heart of Stuttgart, is pretty much 2x2 all the way from Ludwigsburg to Tübingen.

Reutlingen and Tübingen are about 15 kilometers apart and both medium-sized cities with about 100.000 inhabitants each. Stuttgart has become quite an unaffordable place to live in the past decades so many people live in surrounding satellite cities and make the commute every day. The drive from the Tübingen - Reutlingen area can be only half an hour, although in the reality of rush hours it's usually more than an hour +.

Tübingen is definitely the prettier of the two cities, boasting a beautiful historic oldtown. It's also a well-known university city and therefore houses a lot of students and a fairly young population.
