This video shows that testing your stator using ohms resistance readings is not always conclusive. Here I am showing how you can conduct an output voltage check from the source coil/s to give a more accurate diagnosis. The Honda CB250N stator in this video is showing within spec ohms reading but a poor A/C output voltage, this same stator is also fitted to the Yamaha SR500 and Harley Davidson MT350/MT500 motorcycles of the 1980s era.
