Master Yashwant Rajendra Vaishnav was introduced to music by his father Rajendra Vaishnav at the age of 3. He had his Tabla lessons from Shri. Hemant Sachdev, further learned from international artiste Pandit Mukund Bhale and currently under the guidance of well-known international artiste Pandit Yogesh Samsi. He has received many awards, the latest being ‘Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar’ by Sangeet Natak Academy. He has also received ‘Bal Shree’ award from former president Pratibha Patil, ‘Swarna Padak’ by Pandit Ustad Amjad Ali Khan & Dr. Raman Singh (Former CM of Chattisgarh). He has been quoted as ‘Pride of the nation’ by many eminent musicians. He has been giving solo performance across the globe and accompanied many renowned artistes as well in the various concerts.
