PRISM is a partnership programme implemented by the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB) and jointly funded by IFAD and the Belgian Development Agency (ENABEL), with Heifer International as an implementing partner and co-financer and Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Belgique (VSFB) as an implementing partner. The overall objective of PRISM is to reduce poverty by empowering poor rural men, women, and youth to participate in the transformation of the Rwanda livestock sector and to enhance their resilience.
The beneficiaries of the PRISM project have shown profound gratitude for the invaluable assistance provided by the project through the distribution of pigs and chickens. This support has proven to be a transformative force in their ongoing battle against poverty within their communities.
