Stop Comparing, Be Secure in Your God-Given Assignment | John 3 Bible Reading

In today’s Daily Encounter, we read John chapter 3 and reflect on the life of John the Baptis, a man who was deeply secure in his identity and assignment. John understood that his role was to prepare the way for Jesus, and because of that, he was not shaken when his disciples pointed out that Jesus was gaining more followers than him.

This reading ties into a powerful revelation from Day 2: many people are not walking in what God has called them to do because of comparison. When we compare ourselves to others, we lose focus, confidence, and clarity. But when we are secure in who God created us to be, we can serve faithfully without distraction.

Be encouraged today to stop comparing, stay confident in your calling, and trust the assignment God has given you, even when someone else seems to be “doing it better.”
