Cab Ride Bulgaria 🛤️ Chasing the Sunrise 🌄 Dalgopol - Varna (BDZ 46 219 & train 3637)

This train cab ride video will take you on a journey to the sunrise 🌄from Dalgopol to Varna. Starting in twilight, you will experience the beautiful change in the morning skies as the night train from Sofia is making its way to the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Interactive timetable below. 👇

With a total length of almost 9 hours, the night service to Varna via Karlovo is probably the longest railway journey one can make in Bulgaria on the same train. While it would usually make no sense to make a cab ride video in the middle of the night, the early summer sunrise was a good enough reason to give it a try and cover the section between Dalgopol and Varna. And the truth is, I was lucky with the weather: the first morning light runs through fogs and clouds and heavy industry smokes, reaching a climax in the final stop of the train with the sun shining brightly towards the locomotive cab.
