Originally released as the final track on side A of the LP and Cassette, 'Sai' is the 9th track on Robot Carnival's Original Soundtrack Album, both in the original and expanded releases of it.
Robot Carnival is a 1987 OVA taking the form of an 'anthology', with a central theme of Robots- and featuring 9 animated shorts by 8 animators/directors. Joe Hisaishi was tasked with scoring the majority of the film, with the majority of the rest scored by Isaku Fujita. Joyo Katayanagi also composed two tracks for Hiroyuki Kitakubo's segment, however these were not released on the soundtrack album. Two of Joe Hisaishi's tracks were arranged by Masahisa Takeichi.

Kinda surprised this song wasn't uploaded by anybody, since it's such a great song. I had tried uploading it in the past, and at some point Victor outright blocked the video... weird since other Robot Carnival soundtrack music is fine. Anyhow, I was prompted to give it another go, and it seems to be fine now so here's to hoping it stays that way :)
