Creating implications from imagery has always been an interesting facet to filmmaking, especially in animation, where the details are more often than not expressed differently. A well-known method in animation typically involves the visual exaggerations posed in facial expressions, or body expressions. But this video seeks to explore from directors like
Shinichirō Watanabe, who employs a considerably more subtle, perhaps even unorthodox take on this characterization, that relies less on exaggerations and more on staging, blocking, and the environment to establish a character dynamic between two characters, in a style that I call the Two-Shot Dynamic.

I find inspirations more on how they think, rather what they say. It gives an interesting insight to how people treat certain subject matters, and apply it to the frame.
