The Hobbywing ESC comes with R-LOS Autobrake enabled by default, which means the ESC will apply brakes if the signal is interfered with or lost. At low speeds, you may feel the braking force gradually increase, but at high speeds, the braking can feel quite strong.
For riders who prefer a more free-rolling experience, we recommend disabling the R-LOS Autobrake. With it turned off, if the signal is interfered with or lost, the board will coast freely instead of braking automatically. You can then stop the board using rolling resistance or your foot brake.
