BLUETTI Apex 300 Review. Don’t buy!

Negative review of the BLUETTI Apex 300. This is the only power station I’ve purchased thus far and I won’t purchase another from BLUETTI again.

This is a negative review of this particular unit and NOT of the company. I believe that they used a vendor that produced inferior components and they are trying to correct it. However, these units are too expensive to find out they fail when you most need them. Especially if you plan on using it as backup power for your home in an emergency situation.

I received my first unit was completely “bricked” out of the box. 0% charged and would not take a charge. Go watch other videos, they open the box and it has at least 65% when they take it out. Maybe they have sat too long in a warehouse.

BLUETTI sent me a replacement without much difficulty. This replacement was also a “brick” but I was able to revive it after two days plugged into BOTH 120V and 2X 200W solar panels.

It held a 100% charge for three months! I thought for sure it was just a freak occurrence. However, on my first night of my extended trip I attempted to power a ICECO cooler for 7 hours overnight. The unit was dead and the cooler was thawed. Now it’s a big “Brick”. Won’t take a charge.

Had it plugged into 120V and solar panels for two days. It tries to occasionally wake up but it immediately dies again.

Working on getting a full refund. For the money I spent and others would spend I can’t be silent. Don’t put your trust in these. Buy something else until BLUETTI figures these out.
