My first time in Laos 🇱🇦 Vientiane | Talat Sao Market | Patuxay Victory Monument

I have had heard several good reports on Laos saying it's a great place to travel to.
I decided to give Laos a try and flew there from Bangkok to Wattay International Airport Laos which is around 8 km from the Capital City of Vientiane.
Vientiane is the largest city in Laos with a population of 840,000. The Mekong river sits alongside Vientiane at the border with Thailand.
This is our first day and i am just getting acclimatised to the area. We visit the Talat Sao Market which is located close to the financial district. You can buy anything here from clother to cosmetics to electronic goods and Loas jewelery.
Not too far away (about a 10 minute walk) you will find the Patuxay Victory Monument. It was built between 1957 and 1968 and is dedicated to the people who fought in the struggle for independence from France.
