This house is anchored on the iconic Big Sur coastline in California, where the cliffs dramatically meet the Pacific Ocean. Comprised of two pavilions connected by a glass-enclosed bridge that spans a restored ravine, the residence respects the landscape by rejuvenating a seasonal watercourse and preserving local vegetation. Its monolithic stone walls echo the region's cliffs, while the wooden interiors provide warmth and a connection to the environment. Floating roofs and expansive openings integrate the house with nature, creating a harmonious and immersive experience.
