Shop for things you'll ACTUALLY WEAR for your MINIMALIST CAPSULE WARDROBE in 2022

Learn how to shop for your minimalist capsule wardrobe much better with these stylist shopping tips!

Today, you’re coming shopping with me in NYC as I hunt for things for my summer capsule wardrobe for 2022. Shopping can be incredibly challenging, and oftentimes when I’m working with a client, they are surprised at how much further I keep looking than they do. I do have to admit that learning that I am a House of Colour Winter has made the experience significantly easier for me, since I now shop through the lens of color first, and then eliminate based on fit. This means that I try on far fewer things in the store, but I find MORE items that actually work for my wardrobe. Having my new House of Colour Fans, which I hadn’t shown you yet, has been super helpful, so in this video I’ll show you how to use them.

This is a different style of video than I normally create, it’s more of a NYC shopping vlog, but I enjoyed getting out of the house and bringing you with me for a little bit! I did do a little bit of a Nordstrom shop with me - found a few great things there, but I also hit Mango, Banana Republic, and Abercrombie & Fitch - but I didn’t buy something at all stores, since not all of them had things in my winter palette.
