OP-1 Field - Writing, recording, and thoughts about producing music on it

Here is a collections of my thoughts and ideas on recording as it relates to the OP-1 Field. I've been so consumed by this little machine and its challenges and limitations. This channel has become a sort of homage to the OP-1 Field because it single handedly pulled me out of a really long creative slump, and catapulted me into producing at a speed and volume I've never experienced before. It really kind of saved me.

It might sound like I know what I'm talking about. Video editing does that for a lot of people. There are some things that have really worked for me though, and I just wanted to share them with the people who have seen my "music" videos and were curious about how I do things. More to come as I wrap my head around what it is that I'm doing here on Youtube.

It has also been a lot of fun to figure out the video editing aspect to all of this. I've never been a video guy, but I find that filming, editing, and producing music are like sister mediums. I feel like I'm getting better with every video and it keeps pushing me to do more.

Nothing compares to the comments and responses to these though. I'm all about having the conversations. Music is the 2nd biggest joy in my life so reach out if you have a minute, a question or an idea you want to explore. Dork to dork :)
