Arduino Hardware & Microcontroller | "Arduino Traffic Light" (2/4)

What are the major components on the Arduino board? What is the difference between analog, digital, input and output pins? What is the ATMega328 microcontroller? What does the voltage regulator do? In this video, you will get the answers to these questions! Also, I will show you how you can control LEDs via software using the Arduino.

I will give you an introduction to the Arduino hardware. We will look at the major elements of the board such as the microcontroller, the various types of input and output pins and also at some other components such as the power supply and the USB connector. After watching this video, you will be familiar with the most important hardware elements on the Arduino board and you will have no problem understanding the small LED circuit we will be building in the second half of this video.
