I tried GoDaddy's Airo AI builder so you don't have to.

Challenge accepted.

Mark Zemansky dared me to build a website without doing any typing—using only my voice.

Usually, I stick to my professional workflow with Etch and WordPress, but today I’m doing something stupid in the name of content. I installed Wispr Flow for speech-to-text dictation and fired up the beta version of GoDaddy’s new AI website builder, "Airo."

The goal wasn't just to make a generic AI site. I tried to verbally describe the actual Figma design of my personal website to the bot, including specific complex elements like:

A custom hero section with overlapping text.
A continuous, responsive card carousel.
A tabbed interface for filtering projects.
A fully functional blog with a database backend.

Honestly? I expected this to be a disaster. But the results were surprisingly decent.

The AI handled responsiveness better than expected and spun up a database without me needing to configure anything.

We also take a look under the hood at the code. Is it the typical AI-generated Tailwind "div soup"? (Spoiler: Yes, it is).
