I Got Invited to Vend a FREE Event at a Private University… Here’s What I Learned.

Episode 7 of the weekly side quest series, I got reinvited to Chapman University’s annual APIDA event, an event that I vended at last year be ahde their social media marketing team were looking for local Asian artists as vendors. This time, we went through a more tedious application process, and ended up having to pay $115 for a business license even though the event was technically free to vend at. Because of this hurdle, there were only two othr artists vending alongside me: Dracooties and Haiyun, who both happen to be in the artist alley scene.

Welcome back to the channel Zookies! Thank you for tuning in to another weekly episode. This one is rather short, not only because the event was short, but I was not able to record much due to the copyrighted music that was playing during the cultural night as performances went on throughout the entire event!

Turn on them notification bells, next Tuesday's vlog is taking place at CSU Long Beach's campus, where I spent $1,775 in total for a booth fee, in hopes to make it back and more!

One day night time event
Located on Chapman University
Table space alotted (approx. 10x10), given a table and two chairs
Hours: Wed. 5pm-10pm (3-5pm setup)
$0 fee
