We rented our sticks, shoes, and neoprene socks from Zion Outfitters the day before we did this. This hike was so much fun! It was so different from any hike I've ever done before. Almost no elevation gain, all the difficulty comes from walking against current on smooth rocks. It made for some fun sections, too. Walking forward then realizing the water was going to get up to my chest/ neck area was really cool. We went for the whole thing, kind of not knowing that where the regular part ends and the extended part begins is where we went for a swim. I had to remind myself a few times to look up, because as pretty as the walls around us were, looking up and seeing how deep in the canyon we were was stunning.
