Does your old Hi-Fi tuner forget station memories? New tuners use super capacitors to store settings like station memories when the power goes off. Older tuners use backup batteries. Sometimes AA's in a battery case at the back, and sometimes using a button cell on the PC board - in the case of this Hitachi unit, it's a Sanyo LF-1/2W Lithium Magnesium 3V battery. This video shoes you how to change the station memory backup battery in a vintage 1981 Hitachi FT-M70 quartz locked synthesiser tuner. This method can be applied to any tuner with a button cell backup battery.
Time required:

Tools required:
3VDC lithium battery - CR2032 or CR2025
Soldering iron and solder
2 x short pieces of copper wire, each about 25 mm long
