Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra - Cairo Street Ride

A composition that aims to capture the streets and chaotic traffic of modern Cairo. The composition captures with the coasting pulses of an open road, car horns beeping at each other in a sort of above ground sonar mode, music actually replicated from an actual cab driver’s radio, to the sounds of cars speeding up and slowing down.

Cairo Street Ride is part of the 2022 album In the Valley by the Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra on Stricker Street Records.
