Deputy Speeches by Rhys Steele

Rhys was an open semifinalist and a top ten speaker at Astana EUDC. Since Astana EUDC, they have won the St Andrews Open, Earlsfort Open, Groningen Open, Helsinki Open and the Acropolis Open (as well as being the best speaker at the latter 3). On top of this, in the last year they have been part of the top breaking team at Imperial IV and Open, International Metaphysics Open, Groningen Open, St Petersburg Open, Helsinki Open and the EUDC Challenge IV (being best speaker at the latter 4 of these). As a judge, Rhys has broken at over 45 competitions; chairing outrounds at 15 of them (such as Leiden Open 2021, Sheffield IV 2020 and Tilbury House Online Open 2.0) and has been a CA at at least 10 more.
