Don’t be afraid to try stuff. If you think “too bad this part is too big” make it smaller! You don’t need a metal working workshop.
I hope this video encourages people to get out some simple tools.
I didn’t want to return a Goodall valve my family got me for my birthday, but while the threads were right, the top was too big to fit the engine and even once fitted no easy way to get it in an out. So I got out the files and saw.
Tinkering is one of the things I enjoy about model railways in any scale, but especially in G scale or 16 mm scale live steam locomotives.
The train here is running on 32 mm gauge track. Many people call this SM32.
