Besides speaking about brands and their various associations, as well as donning a guitar for a Design Indaba serenade, Javier Mariscal presents a puppet show broadcast live to a screen behind him on stage. What appears to be Mariscal playing the fool is a kaleidoscope of scenarios, switching between reality and the virtual world. With deliberate, random scene and character changes, Mariscal’s puppet show comments on the whimsical side of design.
