This is a brief tutorial on burr based sharpening aimed at people who are beginners at freehand sharpening.
The reason I don't show you a specific method to find the right angle, or a specific method for maintaining angle consistency throughout passes on the stone is because these are virtually entirely a product of muscle memory and cannot be taught in a short video demonstration. Unfortunately, there is no alternative to buying a couple of cheap knives and putting in the repetitions to develop the muscle memory.
