The advantage of the buddy rider compared to most other dog baskets and trailers is that it is compact, quick to install, easier to watch your pup as you ride.
The buddy rider doesn't obstruct the view of the front wheel like many front loaded baskets do. This prevents the running into of any obstacles that may usually be obstructed from sight.
