In this week’s Carowinds update, we’re covering all the latest park changes and event prep you’ll want to know about. Oktoberfest is taking shape with new themed facades and festive flags, while Scarowinds prep is in full swing with new props, scare zone additions, and plenty of spooky atmosphere already transforming the park. Tricks and Treats is returning with colorful Peanuts cutouts and family-friendly décor, though sadly, the parade won’t be back this year.
We’ll also take a look at WinterFest preparations, updates in Aeronautica Landing, the ongoing WindSeeker struggles, and what might be a major hint about the fate of the rumored record-breaking 2026 water ride.
