EGO LM2130-SP Lawn Mower Review | 56V Self-Propelled | Long-Term Use

This is my real-world review of the EGO LM2130-SP 56V self-propelled lawn mower. It weighs around 25kg and has a 52cm cutting deck, and overall I’ve been very happy with it.

The mower cuts extremely well, has plenty of power, and is quiet compared to petrol mowers. For domestic home use, it’s excellent — neat cut, easy to use, and reliable. I’ve had no mechanical issues with it so far.

The main downside is the weight. At 25kg, it’s heavy to lift, especially in and out of vehicles or up stairs. Another frustration is servicing — if something does go wrong, having to take it to an electrical distributor instead of a normal mower or small engine repair shop can be inconvenient and frustrating.

Would I use it commercially?
For commercial work on domestic properties, yes — it would work fine. But for full-time commercial use, you’d probably be pushing it compared to traditional commercial petrol mowers.

If you’re considering buying into the EGO ecosystem, I strongly recommend thinking about:
• Where you’ll need to take it to get repaired
• What other tools you plan to run alongside it

For heavier commercial use and easier servicing, I personally lean toward Stihl, mainly due to their commercial range and widespread repair support.

Overall, the EGO LM2130-SP is a great mower for domestic use, cuts very well, and performs exactly as expected — just make sure the servicing side suits your needs before buying.
