BEST TUNA RECIPE FROM 1950S BOOK/TUNA CASSEROL RECIPE

This special Tuna Strudel is reminiscent of the favorite Tuna Casserole of 1950s . This Tuna recipe is easy to make ,specially if you use supermarket Puff Pastry , like i did . You can make your own dough if you wish, see my recipe below. This canned tuna recipe can be served as appetizer and taste good even next day. Tuna Casserole /tuna loaf
2 table spoons olive oil
1 big leek
2 celery stalks
1 cup mushrooms
1 can 200 gr tuna (drained)
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup mayonnaise (I used 1 spoon)
1 egg +1 egg beaten
1 pack Puff Pastry
If you are not lazy you can make home made dough
mix together
1 3/4 cups flour
3/4 cup yellow corn meal
1 table spoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
with a blender cut butter into flour mixture
2/3 cup chilled butter
make a well in center of mixture, add yogurt
8 ounces plain yogurt
toss with fork until dough forms ,chill for 4 hours
