Recently, increases in malicious cyber attacks have illuminated the increased need for international cooperation and common sets of practices and expectations in cyberspace. However, these common sets of values and rules have yet to be fully actualized, with different states have different rulebooks when it comes to cyberspace based on differing sets of values and beliefs about what cyberspace should look like.
This event brings together our panel of cyber experts involved in the field of international law to illuminate some of the challenges in creating international standards and cooperation in cyberspace, as well as some of the threats of cyber policy to greater cooperation.
