I always wondered if the Powerstoke 6.0 coolant filter was snake oil. I've always had debris in coolant ever since I bought the truck 10 years ago. I've done numerous flushes. Did an Evapo-rust flush. I have to back flush the coolant filter once a year. I run Rotella ELC coolant. finally decided to see for myself if they work. Got a filter cutting tool. I was shocked to see how much crud came out the filter. 100 percent worth it.
